Karolina Goswami is a citizen of Poland who has married an Indian national Anurag Goswami who is an entrepreneur(furniture designer/interiors designer) and they first met in Europe.

India in details is their joint project by which Karolina Goswami is sharing her outsider’s perspective about India to the world. She usually calls herself ‘’a lucky guest of India’’ in many of her comments on her Facebook page/YouTube channel.

One of her documentaries on Indian economy became very viral on the social media which just on Facebook has more than 6 million views and still counting. In this documentary of hers, she famously quoted some words which she is now famous for-’’India is not just developing, India is reclaiming’’. Her other quotes about India, Yoga and the world are equally deep.

She also published a second part of it which was equally loved by the viewers. Later she also made a documentary on demonetization in which she successfully pointed out the facts about the demonetization and humbled the mainstream international media for their wrong reporting. What is even better is the team that is producing her short films/documentaries which in my opinion are simply brilliant (with the graphics/sound effects and filming).

She is known for her unbiased views on India from an outsider’s perspective that she shares with the world citizens (in order to remove the stereotypes about India that are formed around the world because of the international media role). She does not promote any religion, neither she has any influence by any political party, however it appears that she has been studying Hinduism/Sanatana Dharma for curiosity and she herself is a Christian(as noticed in one of her comments). I personally do not know any foreigner who is living in India with such a deep and correct understanding of our country.

From her LinkedIn , one can easily notice that she is also an engineer and she had been working in Poland before she started to live with her husband in India.

According to her, she is inspired by her husband and her own experiences in Europe as so many people from Europe that she knew and some of them even from her family questioned her decision to move to India and marry a man there as most of them were suffering from the negative India image that has been successfully portrayed by the international media for sometime. Karolina herself had traveled all over India and she did not find it justifying that people perceive India so incorrectly.

She then decided to write about India herself in which she is known for showing the balanced side of India(good ,bad and normal) and her website(documentaries) has been making a major difference in forming the correct opinions of India in the world and at the same time she has been very successful in breaking the stereotypes about India.

Indians thank her for this, but she is also followed by a lot of foreigners and NRI community too. The best thing about this lady is her tremendous ability to express her views in a simple and clear language which are backed by true facts.
